About Me
I'm an experienced IT professional, interested in all aspects of software: technical, social and political. It was my passion for Linux (and what it stands for) that led me down the silcon path. Professionally, I've specialised in testing (productively breaking software) and application support (resolving client problems with SQL and setup). It's nice to be the person who fixes occasionally rather than just breaks things for others to fix. I communicate clearly and enjoy mentoring and supporting colleagues and making complex ideas understandable to others.
Quote: "A failure is what we observe, a bug is what we find, and an error is what caused it."
I won't go into tools here. Instead, I've created a section dedicated to that.
